Has the liquor industry successfully marketed to women?

@andlearn thinks the practice is extremely difficult.  Other women feel patronized by the clumsy attempts by the liquor industry to target their demographic.  Many just want to have good quality products available, regardless of marketing.

    Any market segment isn’t any more difficult than another – you FIRST have to know your market to reach them, regardless of gender, color or any other determining factor. Goodness – if you call it ‘extremely difficult’ then you shouldn’t be playing. And you probably don’t know what you’re doing or how to do it. gcj
